Many students who attend big hotel seminar groups teaching trading walk away motivated but quickly realize the price tags are staggering. Before founding Grok Trade, I worked as an award-winning stock mentor for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I was one of the mentors offered with the most expensive packages. The problem I saw again and again was that while many of the speakers and coaches were talented presenters, they weren't actually active traders. They could explain concepts, but they weren't living in the markets day after day. To me, that disconnect — charging huge prices while offering mentors who weren't trading themselves — felt deeply wrong.
That realization is why I built Grok Trade differently. Our tuition is measured in thousands, not tens of thousands, because education should be accessible without crushing debt. More importantly, every Grok mentor is an active trader. We only carve out a few days a month (Saturday through Monday) to teach, because the rest of our time is spent in the live markets — doing what we teach.
